Who are you?§

Greetings! My penname is NaiNonTheN00b1 (or NaiNonTH). Pretty long, right? So it's alright to call me Non as a nickname. I'm currently a student of the faculty of Computer Science at a university in Thailand.

I mainly work and practice on web development and Minecraft Resource Packs, such as series of Foliage+, Improved Fences, Herobrine Return, and Bushy Leaves for Faithful.

Why decided to make Resource Packs?§

I love playing Minecraft, and I'm in favor of seeing the game improved in visuals, optimizations, and quality of life via mods and resource packs. I've been creating resource packs since 2021, once I found a modeling software named "Blockbench." I tried using it and got used to it by creating 3D models of crafting stations, leaves, and more; this went on until one day, I modeled grass and types of large ferns and suddenly had an idea of improving all in-game foliage models; this is the beginning of Foliage+, a resource pack that makes foliage better with texture pack compatibility, thanks to the power of inspiration from resource packs and mods I've played.

I published it on the Planet Minecraft Community website and received the first 100 downloads on the first day of the release, which was a huge number to me back then; also, I announced the release of Foliage+ to the Minecraft Thailand Community Facebook group, and members there seemed to be interested in my resource pack; this started the hobby of creating Minecraft-related projects and publishing them on Planet Minecraft in the future.

Any other things about it?§

I did release a Data Pack once. As of now, I only can make crafting recipe data packs. I started making data packs in 2019 (or 2020) — it was before I began making resource packs. The data pack I made at the time was a data pack that added more crafting recipes that still make sense. However, I only did that just for fun and didn't publish them.

What about website?§

I've just been interested in front-end web developing since February of 2023. Right before I write my own website from scratch, I used the website builder like Wix to make a personal website. And I thought to myself, why don't I make one by my own?

And that is the beginning of my learning trip of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Now I'm learning how to use Svelte web framework to create this website. I plan to start learning the back-end web developing, modding games, and UI/UX designs.
